Last week, I came across a few poems i had written a long time ago. All of them are incredibly silly and have a lot of mistakes but, I would be lying if I said I didn't feel a little nostalgic reading them. They deal with love and romance. I am posting one of them hoping that it would make interesting reading.

She - My Light

Never ever in my life
Have I had this queer feeling,
Fighting the passion of which
My heart finds a tough dealing;
It leaves me feeling wonderful
And finding life so full.

All life is beautiful,
I realize - now - very often,
By God's grace, again in life,
I'm having so much fun;
Gone is the period of worry,
Now is the time to make merry.

Amazing is it, to find that
The light - that once shadowed -
Has now brightened my world
Though, only the lamp has changed;
The feeling that once gave me pain
Has now given me a gain.

The world is still shadowed,
Many lamps have to be lit,
Before it is too late,
To throw light into it;
I've got the light from her,
It will go on and on forever.
